Every focus session is a ride somewhere new.

Tell Stay On Track roughly how much time you've got. It finds a real train journey from wherever you left off, and while you focus, the train actually moves — through stations you've never seen, on a railway that's slowly becoming yours.

TODAY'S ROUTE
The Marigold waiting at Copper Hollow
COPPER HOLLOW
BOOKING HALL

How a session runs.

Book

However long you've got — Stay On Track finds a route from your train's current station to match. No calendar, no setup, no planning screen to get lost in.

EN ROUTE

Ride

Progress is a train actually moving through the country, not a countdown staring back at you. Pause any time — the railway waits. Interruptions never cost you the trip.

ARRIVALS

Arrive

Fare and discovery land, plus a first-visit bonus. Your train is parked a little further into the world than it was an hour ago — ready for the next ride, whenever you are.

THE PROMISE

Built to be finished, not survived.

Most focus apps punish you the moment life gets in the way. Stay On Track doesn't — it's a railway, not a scoreboard, and every rule below exists to keep it that way.

Pausing is free.

Step away mid-session and come back later. The train — and your progress — waits exactly where you left it.

Nothing earned is ever taken away.

Fare only goes up. An interrupted session still counts for something real.

No streaks to protect.

Miss a day, miss a week — there's no chain to break, no red mark on a calendar, no guilt tax on your return.

Short rides count too.

A five-minute hop to the next station is still a real trip, with a real reward at the other end.

THE RAILWAY

A railway that grows the more you focus.

Every completed ride pushes the railway forward. Here's what's waiting to be unlocked.

Lines

Copper Hollow is open now. Highland — and beyond — wait down the track.

Locomotives

The Marigold is yours to start. Earn enough fare, and new engines join the yard.

Achievements

Railway Honors mark first discoveries, full loops, and completed lines.

Conductor levels

Rack up the miles and rise from Apprentice Conductor to Stationmaster.

LAST STOP

Board the next train.

Stay On Track is free to download. Grab it from the App Store, book your first ticket, and see where the line takes you.

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 9, 2026. This policy describes the current Stay On Track website and launch app, including what stays on your device, what we receive when you contact us, and what the current release configuration does.

The short version

Stay On Track is local-first. You do not need an account, and the current launch production build does not send your railway progress, local telemetry, or crash reports to us. We do not sell personal information, run advertising networks, or use data for cross-service behavioral advertising. We receive information when you choose to email support and may receive ordinary technical request data through website hosting.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Stay On Track website at getstayontrack.app, the Stay On Track mobile application, and support communications. In this policy, “Stay On Track,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of the service. You can contact us at hello@getstayontrack.app.

Information we receive

Website information

The current waitlist form is frontend-only: submitting it shows a local confirmation and does not transmit or store your email address with us. If we connect that form to an email service, we will update this policy and the form notice before collecting addresses for that purpose.

If you email support, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to include. The app’s feedback composer may add the app version, build number, and operating-system version to the message. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, and improve support. Your email provider and our mailbox or email service may process the message as part of delivering it.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most websites, the hosting and security systems may process technical request data, such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, and security events, to deliver and protect the site. We do not use that information to build an advertising profile.

App information

The app stores your railway progress and preferences on your device. This can include stations discovered, routes, session timestamps, trip history, fare and reputation, achievements, selected train, notification preferences, haptics and distance-unit preferences, onboarding status, and the optional iOS app-blocking preference. These records are not synced to an account or sent to us in the current launch production build.

The app also creates a randomly generated identifier and a small local event log so its local records can be kept separate and diagnosed on the device. Remote analytics and crash reporting are not enabled in the current release configuration, so this identifier and log stay on the device. They are not linked to your name, email address, or an account by us in this build.

Arrival alerts and daily reminders are optional local notifications scheduled by your operating system. They do not require location access, and we do not receive a push token through these features. If you enable iOS app blocking, Apple’s Family Controls framework keeps the selected app and category tokens on your device. Stay On Track receives only a count for its interface; we do not receive the names of selected apps, app usage history, or Screen Time reports.

Information we do not request

The current app does not request or collect, through its normal features, your precise or coarse location, contacts, photos or videos, microphone or audio, health or fitness information, financial or payment information, advertising identifier, browsing history, or biometric information. Please do not put sensitive information in a support message. There are no ads, ad networks, or cross-app tracking technologies in the launch build.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, secure, and support the website and app.
  • To respond to messages you send us and troubleshoot problems.
  • To understand product use and improve the service only when an optional analytics service is deliberately enabled in a future build.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Legal bases where required

If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or a similar law applies to you, our legal basis depends on the context. We process information to provide a feature or respond to a request you make; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service where those interests are not overridden by your rights; to comply with legal obligations; or with your consent when consent is required, such as for certain optional analytics or marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.

When information is shared

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host and secure the website, deliver or manage support email, or provide another service you request. Those providers may process information only as needed for their services and may be located in countries other than yours.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or support a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer. We may disclose information to Apple or Google when a platform feature you choose requires the platform to process it. We do not control those companies’ separate privacy practices.

Future remote services

The current release does not send product analytics or crash diagnostics to us. If we enable PostHog product analytics or Sentry crash diagnostics in a future build, we will update this policy and the app’s App Store privacy disclosures before release. A future build may transmit limited product events or diagnostic data to the relevant provider as described in the updated notice.

Retention

App progress and settings remain on your device until you delete the app, clear its data, or otherwise remove them through your operating system. Device backups may retain copies under your platform’s backup settings. Support messages and ordinary hosting or security records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business purposes, and then deleted or de-identified when practical.

Cookies and technical records

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser and our hosting provider may still create or retain strictly necessary technical records for delivery and security.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can turn notifications and iOS app blocking on or off in the app. You can keep using the core app without either feature. Because launch progress is local-only, we cannot access or delete that progress remotely; delete the app or clear its storage to remove the local copy, subject to any device backup you control.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know about, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and receive equal service when exercising those rights. California residents may also have rights to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.

To make a privacy request, email hello@getstayontrack.app with “Privacy Request” in the subject and describe what you need. We may ask for information needed to verify the request and may decline or limit a request where the law permits. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information by email. Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

California-specific disclosures

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, during the preceding 12 months we may have collected these categories: (1) identifiers and contact information, such as an email address you include in a support message and technical identifiers handled by website hosting; and (2) internet or other network activity, such as browser, device, request, and security information associated with website delivery. We collect these categories directly from you or receive them through your browser, hosting, and email providers, and use them for support, site delivery, security, troubleshooting, and legal or business operations. We may disclose them to hosting, security, and email service providers for those purposes. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding 12 months.

International processing

If you contact support or use a future optional service, your information may be processed in the United States or another country where we or a service provider operates. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures for the information we handle. No device, email service, network, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Stay On Track is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, features, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide any additional notice required by law. Your continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to the extent permitted by law.

Back to Stay On Track Terms

Terms of Service

Last updated August 9, 2026. These terms govern your use of the Stay On Track website and app. Please read them before using the service.

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of Stay On Track (“Stay On Track,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to the Stay On Track mobile application, website, and related support communications. By downloading, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

Stay On Track is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. You may use it only if you can legally agree to these Terms where you live. If you are below the age of majority, use the service only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision where required by law.

What the service does

Stay On Track is a focus timer and productivity experience that moves a train through a persistent railway as you complete focus sessions. It is not medical, mental-health, therapeutic, diagnostic, legal, financial, or emergency advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional or emergency service. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical reminders, protection, or decisions.

License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on devices you own or control. You do not receive any ownership rights in the app, website, software, content, artwork, names, or trademarks. Except where applicable law permits it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, decompile, reverse-engineer, extract, or create derivative works from the service, or circumvent a security or access-control feature.

App stores and platform features

If you obtain the app through Apple or another app store, that store’s terms and policies also apply to your download and use. The store and your device operating system control availability, permissions, updates, and certain platform features. Stay On Track does not control third-party platforms, and their separate terms and privacy policies may apply.

Local progress and device responsibility

No account is required. In the launch build, railway progress, session history, and settings are stored locally on your device and are not a cloud backup or a promise of permanent preservation. You are responsible for your device, backups, operating-system updates, and keeping enough available storage. Deleting the app, clearing its data, resetting the device, or losing a device may permanently remove local progress. See the Privacy Policy for more information about local data.

Notifications and app blocking

Notifications and iOS app blocking are optional, permission-based, and best-effort features. They may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or affected by device settings, operating-system behavior, focus modes, power settings, permissions, or other apps. App blocking is not a security control and may not prevent access to another app. Review the result of each feature and do not rely on it where a missed reminder or unrestricted app access could cause harm.

Fare, rank, and unlocks

Fare, conductor rank, stations, routes, trains, achievements, and other progress are virtual in-app features. They are not money, property, stored value, or anything with cash or exchange value. They cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged, refunded, or redeemed for real money. We may change, limit, correct, suspend, or reset virtual progress when needed to operate the service, fix errors, address abuse, or comply with law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to violate another person’s rights;
  • interfere with, overload, probe, scan, scrape, or disrupt the service or its security;
  • introduce malware or other harmful code, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
  • bypass permissions, usage limits, integrity checks, or other technical restrictions; or
  • use the service to develop or promote a competing service by copying its protected content, design, or code.

Ownership and feedback

Stay On Track and its licensors own all rights in the service and its content, except for materials that belong to their respective owners. If you send us suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback, you give us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback without payment or attribution. Do not send confidential information or material you do not have the right to share.

Third-party services

The service may depend on device operating-system services, app stores, email applications, hosting providers, or other third-party services. Those services are outside our control and may change or become unavailable. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the service, or suspend access, if reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operation of the service. We will not be responsible for loss resulting from a permitted suspension or discontinuation. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and all related content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or freedom from errors or harmful components. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, compatible with every device, preserve your data, improve your productivity, or meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stay On Track and its operator, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising from or related to the service or these Terms. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid to use the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stay On Track, its operator, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own conduct that cannot lawfully be allocated to you.

Changes

We may change the service or these Terms as the product, law, or operating arrangements change. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection law applies to you. Any permitted dispute will be brought in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires another forum.

General terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms expressly incorporated here, are the entire agreement about the service.
